Face-to-Face Counselling in Blandford, Dorset

In-person counselling sessions are from my home in Milborne St Andrew, Blandford, Dorset.

You can mix and match with Online or telephone,  depending on your situation or how you are feeling week to week.

Getting started

We can begin with a short 20–30 minute phone or Zoom call. This gives you a chance to get a feel for how I work in counselling sessions and ask any questions.

I’ll send full directions and my address beforehand. You can also text or call on the day if needed.

Sessions take place at my home in a calm, private ground-floor space. There is one step to enter. The cottage layout means it is not wheelchair accessible, but the space is comfortable and private for therapy.

Practical details for counselling sessions

Session length: 1 hour
Parking: Road parking is available, but it can be busy. Many clients park on nearby side streets and walk up (it is a steep hill).
Flexibility: Sessions can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Full directions will be provided.

As this is a family home, you may occasionally hear movement elsewhere in the house. However, you will not be disturbed during your session.

Counselling at your pace

Some people find a few sessions are enough, while others prefer longer-term support.

This can depend on what’s happening in your life, your current stress levels, and what you want from therapy.

You might come with a specific focus, or prefer a more open-ended space for reflection and self-exploration. Some people also return occasionally when life feels more difficult.

We’ll talk about what feels right when we first meet, and keep reviewing it so the pace continues to suit you.
